THE RLC OUTREACH
We believe that it is important for believers to be present just as much outside of the church as we are inside. We choose to be extensions of God's love by Reaching Out to those who need it most. We are reminded that we are serving God by serving his people as it is stated in scripture whatsoever you do unto the least of these you do unto me. Twice a year we provide backpacks and personal care items to those who are in need. We also provide winter items such as hats, blankets and gloves. We are able to do this work through donations of our members and partners.
Every summer when children are out for school we provide a hot meal for them and anyone else in need. We target low socioeconomic areas to provide the support to those who need it.
Mesquite Santa Cop is a program where families in need are provided with toys for the holiday season. Our church supports this by providing entertainment activities to the community while they wait to receive their gifts.
